Melinda Gallagher, M.A. President and Founder Melinda Gallagher is a sexuality professional with over seven years of experience in project management, business development, program development, and team leadership in international public health programs specializing in human sexuality, women's health, and reproductive health. Prior to founding CAKE, she was the Manager of Resource Development at AVSC International, an international nonprofit reproductive health, technical assistance organization. She has broad management and program experience in the development, review and submission of large-scale grant proposals - functioning as a team leader and player on diverse and complex teams. She is a published writer, editor, and facilitator focusing on public health, sexuality and women's issues. She has extensive international experience in the Near East, Asia and Africa. Melinda earned a Masters Degree in human sexuality and public health from NYU. Emily Scarlet Kramer, Co-Founder Emily Scarlet Kramer received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's Studies with a focus on sexuality from Columbia University. Emily has over seven years of graphic design, web development and production experience. She has extensive experience in event production, design, business development and marketing. Matthew Kramer, Co-Founder and Business Development Matthew Kramer brings to CAKE more than eight years of business development experience in the New Media and Entertainment industries. He currently is a consultant for MAXIM magazine in marketing and event production. Prior to joining the CAKE team, he was Director of Strategic Partnerships for MTV Networks' online properties, The MTVi Group. In 1998, he directed Project Development for MCY, an online music venture, and was instrumental in fundraising for their successful public offering. He has consulted extensively to the advertising industry; for Killer Music, DHMA, Grey, the online divisions of Canon and US New Media, and as a producer for major recording labels (Warner, Virgin, Polygram). He graduated from Brown University with a degree in International Relation focusing on commerce and finance. | ||
